“The Daisy Springstar Arctur, ‘Osteospermum ecklonis’, was bred by Kientzler of Germany. The Springstar varieties are great for early cropping and all have a compact habit and are early flowering. The Springstar Arctur, a Proven Selections plant, produces beautiful dainty white flowers. Daisy’s require a sunny spot with fertile, well-drained soil and should be kept well watered in the summer. Deadhead spent flowers to encourage additional bloom. The deeply cut, dark green leaves are aromatic when bruised.For zones 9-11, this plant can also be a perennial.”

“The Scabiosa ‘Giant Blue’ is a vigous version of the ‘Buttefly Blue’. It has larger lavender-blue flowers that bloom from June to October. Giant Blue is reminiscent of a pincushion full of pins. With its gray-green foliage, it has a plant height of 16 and a spread of 12-18″”. It is also disease resistant. It will do excellent for front-of-the-border areas, with Coreopsis Moonbeam’, Dianthus ‘Bath’s Pink’, in mass plantings or as cut flowers.”
