Beans Bush Beans Bush Blue Lake 274 Hrlm

Bush Blue Lake 274 Bush Bean is an Heirloom that is an ancient staple crop grown throughout North and South America. It is an excellent freezing and canning variety that retains its excellent flavor and texture when frozen. This snap bean or green bean grown on short bushy plants is eaten pod and all, and it is one of those vegetables, like tomatoes, that tastes significantly better when grown at home rather than bought at the grocery store. Bush Blue Lake 274 has oval pods 5 12 long crisp and good flavored. It remains stringless and tender over a long period and has heavy yields. Sow in the spring, after average last frost. If the weather is cold and wet, wait for warmer weather. For all areas, Bush Beans can be planted in succession to produce beans all season. Seed a new crop every 7 to 14 days up to 60 days before first fall frost. Resists BCMV, tolerates NY15.
