Bellflower Chettle Charm

Chettle Charm Bellflower, Campanula 'Chettle Charm', is an exciting twist on an old cottage garden perennial, featuring medium tall spikes of large bell shaped flowers. The petals are near white and display violet blue along the edges. Chettle Charm Bellflower is especially outstanding when used in pastel border schemes. Removing spent flowers will greatly increase the blooming season. Chettle Charm Bellflower is easily grown in average, medium, well drained soil in full sun to part shade. It prefers part shade in warmer climates, since it is intolerant of extreme summer heat of the deep South and needs regular moisture. This Bellflower is effective in a lightly shaded woodland settings where if can be left alone to naturalize. Mass or plant in large groups for best effect.
