The Weeping Blue Atlas Cedar Glauca Pendula, Cedrus a. 'Glauca Pendula' Dwarf, is a handsome dwarf evergreen for specimen planting reaches about four feet in height. The blue attractive foliage is more intense in spring and summer. It has a wonderful weeping form when the branches are left to drape to the ground. It wants to hang to the ground to provide visual interest. With this stunning feature long cascading branches it can spread quite some distance. Glauca Pendula, in its old age, gets broader and develops a flat topped form. Tight, stubby seed cones mature in two years. Follow a regular watering schedule during the first growing season to establish a deep, extensive root system. Feed with a general purpose fertilizer before new growth begins in spring.
