Emerald Elf Amur Maple, Acer ginnala 'Emerald Elf', is a compact selection of Amur Maple that combines spectacular fall color with a small rounded shape. The glossy dark green summer foliage turns scarlet to purple in the fall. Excellent as a specimen plant or as a colorful hedge, or suitable for growing in containers. Let it serve as a focal point in your yard or garden. Emerald Elf Amur Maple prefers well drained acidic soils. It is a deciduous plant and likes full sun to light shade. It has a growth of 5 to 6 feet tall and 5 to 6 feet wide, is drought tolerant, and suitable for xeriscaping. Water regularly do not overwater.
