Morden Ruby Rose, Rosa 'Morden Ruby', is a dazzling Parkland Series rose. The flowers arrive in a heavy flush in early summer and recur until season's end, then they bloom with renewed profusion, followed by small orange hips. The long lasting flowers are a striking blend of deepest pink and ruby red, with an occasional distinctive splash of deep, deep red. Own root. Flowers are fully double about 3 wide and blooms are borne in small clusters. Repeats in fall and has dark green, shiny foliage that can be somewhat prone to blackspot in humid summers. A very nice and unique rose that should be grown in more gardens. With a slight fragrance, these blooms also make excellent cut flowers.
