Pheasant Berry Golden Lanterns

The Golden Lanterns Notbruce, Leycesteria 'Notbruce' Golden Lanterns, is a new shrub that will rock the perennial world! This is a graceful, easy growing plant with attractive, clean, bright yellow green foliage. The young shoots have a red tint, the leaves stay golden for a long time and become light green in summer. In mid summer it is covered 4 long pendulous drooping clusters of dark purplish red bracts and white flowers. In the autumn it produces edible dark purple berries. What a fantastic way to add color to the patio or front yard! Notbruce is hardy, easy to grow, and it likes well drained soil and a sunny to slightly shaded position. Feed once a year with a slow release fertilizer.
