Tiarella Mystic Mist Foam Flower

Tiarella Mystic Mist, Tiarella 'Mystic Mist' PPAF, will give your shade garden great visual interest. This colorful, variegated plant has a fast growing clumping habit. Tiarella 'Mystic Mist' PPAF has bright green leaves that have white speckles and red veins. In the spring, spires of fragrant, white foam flowers form above the foliage and in the fall the plant acquires attractive pink tones. ‘Mystic Mist’ will do best in full shade and needs average to moist soil. Try planting this popular perennial with Lamium ‘White Nancy’, Hosta ‘Patriot’ or ‘Japanese Painted Fern’. It can be planted as a ground cover or mingled with other shade loving plants. Foamflowers are close cousins to the coral bells, with similar sprays of flowers over a low clump of foliage.
