Polar Star Organic Early Tomato has red fruits with the pattern of a star on the blossom end. It is round to a slightly flattened shape. This early tomato is slightly squat, with a sweet, but tangy taste. Polar Star was bred for Alaska, so you know it has to be early! Determinates tend to be more compact, all the flowers blossom within a short period of time, and the fruit matures quickly. Determinate cultivars have less foliage, permitting more light to reach the soil and the fruit, and Polar Star is a determinate.
