The Amaryllis Double 'Blossom Peacock', 'Hippeastrum', unfolds large, fully double blooms in delicate white with a pink fringe. Amaryllis are great for cut flowers and they also can be grown indoors. The planting period extends from October to April and the flowering period lasts for 7 to 8 weeks. Amaryllis can be grown outdoors in frost free areas. They also can be grown in colder regions. In cold regions, pull up the bulbs before winter, and store them until spring.
