Pearl White Bellflower, Campanula 'Pearl White', produces star shaped, pure white flowers and has medium green, crinkled leaves. Neat, compact and prolific, its gorgeous pure white flowers start earlier than those of older varieties. The consistently large flowers of 'Pearl White' will continue through summer and right into fall! This Campanula is a perfect choice for mass planting at the edge of your perennial garden. Pearl White Bellflower grows best in fertile soil with a neutral to alkaline pH. Lime can be added to the soil to obtain these conditions. Keep the soil moist but make sure it is well drained. Members of this group will grow in either full sun or partial shade, though some shade is recommended in areas with very hot summers. Cutting the plants back hard after flowering will keep them more compact, and may also result in a second flush of blooms.
