Clematis Kingfisher Evipo037, Clematis 'Kingfisher™ Evipo037', is a new EvisonPoulsen variety that is exceptionally free flowering with huge 6 7 inch flowers in late spring through early summer. The intense deep blue flowers are breathtaking and are nicely contrasted with creamy yellow anthers. This exceptional new clematis also reblooms heavily in late summer with slightly smaller flowers for an extended season of color. Clematis 'Kingfisher Evipo037' needs plenty of room for the roots to spread. Best performance is when the tops are in full sunlight and the roots are shaded, so apply a generous mulch or a shallow rooted ground cover near the base of the vine. Very reliable performers once established they take a season or two.
