Columbine Origami Blue White, Aquilegia x caerulea 'Origami Blue White', is a new hybrid which boasts up to 12 weeks of blooms! The elegant heavenly blue blooms face upward to show off their beauty in the garden. 'Origami Blue White' has a neat and compact habit that makes this new Columbine a sure winner! The spectacular colors are superb near the front of beds and borders. They can be used individually in small clumps, or massed together in combined groupings to create a stunning explosion of extended color. Resistant to deer and rabbits. The 'Origami' series was recommended by P. Allen Smith in his monthly garden guide! 'Origami Blue White' is easily grown in average, medium, well drained soil in full sun to part shade. Tolerates wide range of soils except heavy, poorly drained ones. Prefers rich, moist soils with light to moderate shade. Remove flowering stems after bloom to encourage additional bloom. Keep soils uniformly moist after bloom to prolong attractive foliage appearance. When foliage depreciates, plants may be cut to the ground.
