Salvia Sage, Salvia farinacea 'Blue Frost', is a small perennial evergreen subshrub, with woody stems, grayish leaves, and blue to purplish flowers. Sage prefers a sunny location with alkaline soil. It grows best in a warm climate. Use in sauces and stuffings for fatty meats such as goose, duck, pork and sausage.
